Opening a new business in a foreign country where you don't speak the language may not sound like good business sense. However for the past six months I have been selling very successfully Hornby trains on the Czech auction site Aukro.
Doing my
home work there seems to be a strong market for model railways, locomotives and
accessories. Especially strong is the quality Hornby steam locomotives,
Flying Scotsman etc. Given that we have had a 100% success rate to date,
in other words we have sold every locomotive that we purchased for stock
since April 2014. I think it's safe to say www.haveit.cz has a fair
chance of real success with these products. So stand by model railway
enthusiasts in The Czech Republic we plan to launch our full ranges of
Hornby OO gauge locomotives in January 2015 this will include the much
sort after Harry Potter - Hogwarts Loco and station layout.
